In October 2016, Experts in Motion successfully completed a relaunch of its online presence for the Dusyma Kindergarten GmbH, including the online shop, based on the Intershop Commerce Suite 7.
The specialist for educationally valuable toys and high-quality furniture has had an online presence since 1999 with general company information as well as its own online shop with around 16,000 items, which are tailored to the special needs of children and senior citizens. Dusyma sells its products to a very diverse clientele, including: composed of traders, daycare centers, schools, recreational facilities, clinics, childminders and crèches.
With the change to a future-proof technology, the internet presence should not only be modernized technically, but also the user-friendliness should be optimized. In addition, advice, dialogue and customer loyalty should be strengthened and sales and customer satisfaction increased.

The Solution – Intershop Commerce Suite
Dusyma Kindergarten GmbH has implemented the Intershop Commerce Suite as the centerpiece of their new online presence. The solution replaces an existing e-commerce system and was selected for its high scalability, flexibility and performance.
Since 1925 Dusyma has been responsible for the development and sale of pedagogical products for children used in kindergartens and schools. The company has become known for the worldwide famous and patented Dusyma plug-in module, which was developed in 1935. From its headquarters in Schorndorf near Stuttgart, the Dusyma products are shipped to 49 countries.

Specials of the Technical Solution
Based on the Intershop solution, Dusyma now addresses its customers in a targeted manner. In special theme worlds, the contents tailored to the respective customer groups are presented, which are supplemented by download offers and expert tips. Product presentations and texts are also tailored to the respective customer segment (B2B and B2C).
The Responsive Design presentation ensures that users receive views of the offer that are optimized for the various end devices.
Personalized recommendations ensure user-oriented additional offers during the online purchase.
Dusyma’s dedicated call center solution enables a call center agent to actively assist customers during the ordering process and provide additional information for their purchase decision.
Special technical challenges were the existing PIM system and the connection to Microsoft Dynamics as well as the integration of the package dispatch software VPWIN to guarantee a seamless, automated exchange of all relevant data.
